Deinking

Producing a bright and clean pulp is a challenge when using recycled fibre as raw material. The release and removal of hydrophobic contaminants, such as printing inks and stickies, are essential to delivery of the required quality.

BIM offers ready to use deinking agents, such as surfactants and cold fatty acid soaps, which improve the flotation performance and the ability to detach ink from the fibres. By combining deinking agents with our alternative alkali source, we can optimise the whole deinking process.
